Programs and events are free and open-to-all unless otherwise noted.  We regularly host game nights, craft nights, movie screenings (with popcorn!), featured speakers, a summer reading program, book sales, and more!

Featuring teaching artist Taylor Clough, Philipsburg's Artist-in-Residence for 2021.  FREE + open to all ages!  Provided with support from the Philipsburg Arts Fund and Open AIR MT.

Cooking, Gardening, & Herbalism Classes

Tuesday July 6 -- NO CLASS

Tuesday July 13 -- PLANT WALK 6:00 - 7:30pm We’ll walk and talk about ethics and methods for foraging wild plants in the area. As well as discuss identifying characteristics within common plant families and medicinal plants to site-id in the area.

Tuesday July 20 -- HERBAL OXYMELS & SALAD DRESSINGS 6:00 - 7:00pm Learn a traditional way of preserving herbs, which can be used to make delicious tasting salad dressings. Receive a list of safe herbs and herbs to avoid. Sample, taste, and take home some recipes!

Tuesday July 27 -- HERBAL TEA BLENDING & TASTING 6:00 - 7:00pm Learn the benefits of loose leaf tea and the art of drying. Sample different tea blends as we have conversations about the blends and why they are supportive for various systems (i.e. digestive, lymphatic, nervous system)

Free Monthly Deliveries to Your Home

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library puts books into the hands of children. Specially-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality books are mailed each month to registered children from birth to age five. These books are addressed to each child individually and sent directly to their home. Registration forms can be completed at the Library or downloaded.
